The entry deadline for the 2008 International Home Mead Maker Competition has passed and entries are closed until the fourth annual International Home Mead Maker Competition.

The 2008 Entry Form will be posted in November of 2007. The deadline for entries in the 2007 Home Mead Maker Competition has lapsed, and the first round judging took place on Satuday, January 13, 2007 in Boulder, Colorado. There were 242 entries this year and we had a gaggle of Judges on hand for the event. A special orientation and information session on mead judging were give before the judging, and were well received by the judges. The judging went off smoothly and the judges and stewards were very happy with the accomodations and atmosphere. Final round and best of show judging was held at the International Mead Festival and was a roaring success. We are looking forward to more excellent meads at the upcoming HMMC 2008 in Denver, Colorado. We hope to see you there!
