The Unicorn Pub had closed for the night. Gloria and the kitchen maid, exhausted, had gone home a short while since. Loong and Otto were winding up the evening with one last tot of hot ale.

"You were a hit with everyone tonight, Loong. Most people here have never even glimpsed a dragon, but once you were introduced, it all went fine. Of course it helped that you'd softened everybody up with a couple of drinks before you became visible again."

"It was a very enjoyable evening," said Loong. "I haven't seen such dancing since the Cossacks did a kazatzkeh for the Tsar's birthday. Does mead always do that to people? Now how much do I owe you? Can you make change for this gold piece?"
